Terms of Use – Slagmarken: Hidden Ranks

These terms apply when you play Slagmarken: Hidden Ranks (“the game”), made by Ejnar Games, CVR 42350915, Møldrupvej 1E, 8752 Østbirk, Denmark (“we”). Contact: slagmarken.games@gmail.com.

1. The game

The game is free to download. The free version includes the starter units, Thorin’s campaign chapters 1–4, battles against the computer and online play. The one-time purchase “Full game” unlocks all other units, campaigns and content described in the store, including content we later add for full-game owners.

2. Purchases

• Purchases are made through Apple, Google or Valve (Steam), and their payment and refund rules apply. Refund requests go to the store you bought from.
• The full game is linked to your store account and can be restored with “Restore purchases”.
• Tokens are earned by playing. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money and have no cash value.

3. Your account

• You can play as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. Guest progress may be lost if you delete the app before signing in.
• You are responsible for your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings.

4. Fair play and behaviour

You must not:

• cheat, use bots, modify the game or exploit bugs to gain an advantage;
• harass, threaten or insult other players, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content in chat or player names;
• try to access our servers or other players’ data without permission. We may warn, mute, reset the rating of, suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. Online chat requires you to be at least 13.

5. Rankings and seasons

Ratings, leaderboards and seasons may be reset or adjusted, for example to correct cheating or errors.

6. Changes and availability

We keep improving the game and may change, add or remove features and balance. We aim to keep online play running but cannot promise it will always be available. If we ever close the online service for good, we will give at least 60 days’ notice, and offline modes you have paid for will keep working.

7. Our rights

The game, its name SLAGMARKEN HIDDEN RANKS, art, music and code belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to play the game. Short gameplay clips and streams are welcome.

8. Liability

The game is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Danish and EU law. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost progress caused by events outside our control, or downtime.

9. Law and disputes

Danish law applies. As a consumer you can also complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet), www.forbrug.dk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Important changes are announced in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
